About Hie ElectronicsInternJob DescriptionHie Electronics "pays it forward" with a paid internship program that has engaged interns from several Texas universities - Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, University of North Texas, University of Texas at Dallas, and Texas A&M University - to work on designing and manufacturing our green technology, the TeraStack® Solution, and building recognition and sales for the product and the company.An intern provides administrative and technical support as needed in the assigned department - Manufacturing, Software Development, Information Technology, Business, or Marketing and Sales. Interns apply existing knowledge and skills to problem-solving and projects assigned by supervisors and develop new knowledge and skills through work experience.
Typically, interns are students on break who have completed at least one year of college and are available to work full time. Other situations may be considered.
