Outside Sales Representative
Job Description
Hie Electronics is seeking motivated, dynamic, self-starter outside sales representatives to drive revenue by executing sales and marketing strategies. This is a high-profile role to showcase sales skills and take the TeraStack
® Solution to nationwide and global success. The person in this position will drive and grow sales revenue by identifying opportunities, making sales calls, setting appointments, communicating with businesses, generating additional leads and penetrating target markets in healthcare, including hospitals; local, state and federal agencies; and education, including universities. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor position. Existing professional business contacts preferred.

Job requirements:
- A personable demeanor, professional and aggressive self-starter.
- Minimum 5-10 years of executive, outside, business-to-business sales experience.
- Excellent work ethic and entrepreneurial drive.
- Positive attitude with strong presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to succeed in competitive, high-performance work environment.
- Ability to understand and present new product concepts to marketplace.
- Ability to become trusted advisor to the organization.
- Ability to get things done and make face-to-face sales calls.
- Ability to formulate sales plan for designated territory, region and specific client portfolios.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- College degree preferred.
Special Requirements:
Decision Making: Ability to act independently using own judgment and initiative while keeping sales management informed.
Assertiveness: Ability to identify opportunities and drive sales process to close contracts.
